Spritz! Compressor

Supercool Pedals

Knobs n' Bobs / Supercool Pedals / Spritz! Compressor

The Spritz! Compressor is a compact and powerful compression/sustainer that tames your louds and boosts your quiets to created a saturated, smooth, and mellow sound, with no tone colouration or distortion. Based on a famous orange compression circuit, the Spritz! Compressor is a fully analog circuit that uses a pair of matched JFET transistors and a rare Germanium diode to add smooth sustain, cutting attack, and a pillowy texture to your chain.

  • Made in Canada
  • Output level
  • Internal pot to adjust the amount of compression

The Spritz! Compressor is intended as a "set it and forget it" compressor pedal, with a single knob for output level that can also be used as a boost, but also features an internal pot that can be adjusted to control the amount of compression applied to your signal. By default this is set at a fairly high ratio for a rich and classic juicy sound.

Supercool Pedals

Supercool Pedals is a small Canadian effects pedal company founded in 2019 by Jamie Muir in Toronto Ontario, and is now based out of the Peterborough/Nogojiwanong area.

Supercool Pedals are designed not only to provide fundamentally useful and creative effects to musicians, but also to serve as refreshing nostalgia-evoking objets d’arts that bring colour and conversation to pedal boards in an otherwise bland, often utilitarian, and sometimes overwhelming and saturated pedal market.

Each Supercool pedal is designed and built by hand with the highest quality materials, a whole lot of care, and probably a little too much whimsy.
